Service Usage Statistics

IST collects session data from the servers used to authenticate and authorize access to certain network services. This session data is regularly processed to produce monthly usage statistics as well as yearly summaries. Collection of this data began January 1st, 2008.

The first set of statistics consists of the following data for the month/year listed.

Unique UsersThe number of unique accounts used to authenticate.
Total SessionsThe total number of user sessions.
Total HoursThe total number of hours of use for the service.
Avg Min per SessionThe average length of a session for the service.

The second set of statistics is a breakdown of the first by user affiliation category, as described below.

nomdmacctNo modem account found during processing. We use this category when a user's account has expired from the modem account database after their last use of the service but before the processing of their session data.
